Q · Short answer

What is Shopify?

Shopify is an e-commerce platform. Its merchant connector, listed in Meta’s Muse for Small Business announcement on September 29, 2026, connects Muse to your store. It’s separate from Shopify Catalog (shopping) and Shop Pay (paying).

Why it ranks #7

For store owners, Shopify is the system of record for products, orders and customers — exactly the context Muse needs to help run the business. Meta listed the merchant connector in its Muse for Small Business launch.

Watch the names: Muse also has Shopify Catalog and Shop Pay, which are about shopping and paying, not running a store. This review covers the merchant connector.

Shopify hasn’t published which store actions are available in Muse. It makes the top 10 because commerce is a core small-business job and Shopify is the default platform for it.
