We are not fully independent
The publisher of this site has commercial relationships with some of the companies whose products we rank. That means Best Muse Connectors is not a fully independent publication, and you should weigh our rankings with that in mind.
We show the same disclosure, in the same words and the same place, at the top of every ranking, comparison and review page on this site.
How we rank
We rank connectors on criteria we publish and apply to every connector:
- What it can actually do — how valuable the job is, whether the connector finishes it, and whether it previews, asks for approval and can undo anything that changes the outside world.
- What it costs — as published by the maker. When a maker doesn’t publish a price, we say so rather than guess.
- How clearly its maker documents it — what the connector can and can’t change. We reward specifics and never fill a gap with a guess.
- Availability — whether it’s confirmed live in Muse. Unconfirmed connectors aren’t ranked.
Every product claim on this site comes from the maker’s own public page or documentation, or another public source we cite. Our reviews are based on that research and comparison, not on hands-on testing inside Muse.
